As more than 70 % of all freight – Parcels or Goods – are Volume Freight, it pays to measure the volume – and invoice due to Volume – weight.
Example: A parcel is 60 x 40 x 30 cm and weighs 7.5 kg
Volume weight: 0.6 x 0.4 x 0.3 x 250 = 18 kg
Weight: 7.5 kg
In this example, the charge should be for 18 kg, not 7.5 kg !!!
